United Ummah Funeral Services exists to make sure every Muslim family in our community can lay a loved one to rest with dignity, according to Islamic tradition, without the burden of cost standing in the way.
When a death occurs, families are grieving and decisions come quickly. We take on the arrangements and the expenses so that families can focus on their loved one, their prayers, and each other. Our care follows the sunnah at every step, from the first phone call to the moment of burial.

- Ghusl and kafanRitual washing and shrouding of the deceased, performed respectfully by trained members of our community.
- Janazah prayerCoordination with your local masjid to arrange the funeral prayer promptly.
- Burial and cemetery arrangementsCemetery plot, permits, grave preparation, and the graveside service.
- TransportationTransfer of the deceased into our care, and to the masjid and cemetery.
- DocumentationDeath certificate and burial permit paperwork handled on the family's behalf.
- Family guidanceSomeone to walk the family through what happens next, step by step.
All funeral expenses are covered by United Ummah Funeral Services. Families are not asked to pay for the services listed above.
